How we handle your data — and why we barely collect any.

What information we collect
mycalcu.in does not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any financial data.
All calculator inputs (salary, loan amounts, investment values etc.) are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 collects anonymised data including:
- Pages visited and time spent
- Country and city (approximate, not precise location)
- Device type and browser
- How you arrived at the site (search engine, direct, etc.)
This data is aggregated and anonymised. We cannot identify individual visitors from GA4 data. Google's privacy policy governs how Google handles this data: policies.google.com/privacy.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These are analytics cookies only — no advertising or tracking cookies are used. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Third-party services
mycalcu.in is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect server logs (IP addresses, request times) as part of normal hosting operations. See GitHub's privacy statement.
Children's privacy
mycalcu.in does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The site contains no user accounts or data collection forms.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of mycalcu.in after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
